As of yesterday August 25, 2009 my Mission Statement is as follows:
I, Cheryl Jo Thompson of 422 Maplewood Ave. Whitehall, OH and the signatures of these citizens signing hereby circulate and file this petition to RECALL Jackie Thompson from the seat of Council At Large.

My Mission Statement
My Mission Statement is to alert all citizens of Whitehall, OH to the ridiculous and outrageous behavior of Council member Jackie Thompson at council meetings. Her behavior as an elected official is an embarrassment to our city. We as citizens need to voice our opinion and hold her to the high standards that she demands of all of the other elected officials.

Ms. Thompson is a nuisance in our community. I say "our" becuase we are the members of this community with our children in it's schools. Who needs this nonsense. She is an old lady with little or nothing to do better with her time except cause other adults problems. Ms. Thompson, could you please leave us parents and caring citizens of Whitehall alone! We are not looking out for your generation, but our children's generation. We think you are a nosey busey body who should not be in a position where you can make any kind of decisions as to what we do for our children or community. Take care of your own garden and your own "four pets", (plus another which you choose to dognap). You should be dismissed from office and fined for your dishonable standards.

ReplyDeleteAnd, I will continue to speak. I do not speak for anyone, but myself and my children. I lived in Whitehall when I was a child and moved my children here because of the schools. I like Whitehall, I respect my neighborhood, I love the people here. But, this...what Ms. Thompson represents is a disgrace and injustice to our fine city! Let's get together and get this woman off council. She respresents herself (which is totally "out of order"). I represent the city. I am a member of the community and proud of it. Ms. Thompson needs to leave her neighbors and community parents alone.....a friend.
ReplyDeleteI find it amusing that someone must resort to childish name calling on a blog. Come'on people. I *just* found this blog, and read from the beginning. CJT--I'd love to talk. You know me...We definitely have mutual interests, and I believe we can help each other. I have been singled out by JT, had Code Enforcement sent my way. She has delved into my personal information, using her "council seat" for personal gain. She has done this time and time and time again. Those of us Whitehall residents that KNOW what is going on and are opposed to her ranting and walking around the city like she owns it and US, we need to band together and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

ReplyDeleteI "Totally" agree with WYHSbndmomX2, Jackie does try to use her "power" in any way shape or form. She reminds me alot of Hitler. Look at what she did to me. Putting her nose where it doesn't belong. Just like all her emails to me at my place of employment - she started the harassment, which I ignored. Good thing there are copies to prove her "harassment", seeing how she won't comply with public records requests. She just can't stand the fact that everything she brings to council, the citizens that she was elected to represent don't agree with; i.e. "Darwin Day" Seriously!!!! That certainly is not what I want my tax paying dollars teaching my children. I have faith that with all of us good people in Whitehall and the other good people on council, it won't be long until we are rid of the evil that we all know as Jackie Thompson. She may be able to fool a few unsuspecting people.... but it won't take long before she turns them against her too!!!!!!
