I kept trying to tell Leslie this wasn't about her..........but she kept stepping in Jackie Thompson's Pit Bull POOP. Listen to Leslie talk about the "hot heads".......who is really the "hot head"??? Seriously????...And Jackie "chastising" Council for going amok and berating the public....could she be talking about Leslie???.....oh and by the way....Jackie WAS going to let the pit owners keep ONE of their dogs........as long as she can keep fifteen of hers!

It is my understanding that elected officials work for the people. Why should it bother them that there are concerned citizens out here that are willing to give up their time to video tape the council meetings in order to let the city, and whoever else is concerned know the city council, that represents them. Some of the faces Mrs. La Corte makes during these videos have a child like resemblance. If you do not like to be in the public eye Mrs. La Corte, then maybe you should resign with Mrs Thompson, or better yet just save yourself the embarrassment and do not run again...

What Mrs. Thompson did to Mrs. Miller is disgusting. Using her position on council to get her fired for sending an email from work, simply because Mrs. Miller was standing up for her rights. That is inexcusable Mrs. Thompson. It is people like you that give politicians in general a bad name. I wonder if Mrs. Miller had sent an email supporting Mrs. Thompson would Mrs. Thompson have reacted the same way? I seriously doubt it. The moral thing to do Mrs. Thompson, is to make a public apology to Mrs. Miller (The National Night Out would be a great venue) like how sorry you are that you caused a single mother of 2 teenage boys to lose her employment for simply standing up for her rights and to save her family pets, then you should step down from the council, and resign like the majority of the city of Whitehall wishes...majority rules right. So Mrs. Jackie Thompson what do you say? I will be there as well as many other citizens of Whitehall, to see if you do the right thing. You say you want to do what is right for the community, well this is what the community wants...
