Public Records Request
Well - Council Member Jackie Thompson has refused to hand over the public records requests that Attorney Mike Shannon informed her she was to surrender. The requests were made by the Columbus Dispatch, Janiece Miller and myself. Nothing to hide??? Ummm. You be the judge! Just more delay tactics from Jackie!!

Of course she isn't going to cooperate...she is "The Great Councilwoman Jackie Thompson" and how dare anyone question her actions!! Just 7 more days till the votes are counted and Ms. Thompson is gone...gone...gone!!!
ReplyDeleteOne week from today, all of Whitehall will be resting a little bit easier, knowing that we are on the road that leads back to "The City of Pride" without Jackie Thompson representing us. There is a comment on SNP online from a woman in The Netherlands. It makes me sick to my stomach to know that Ms. Thompson's "evil doings" have crossed our oceans. The writer even refers to JT as having a Hitler complex. I guess we are not the only ones that see things have run amuck here in good old Whitehall. Counting the days, Jackie!!!! I know you are too.
ReplyDeleteI hope once Jackie Thompson is gone, that Mr. Dixon will get to work on his house and stop making an idiot and fool out of himself. He say's that when people think Whitehall, they think hillbilly....well he's the only one I've seen making it look that way!
ReplyDeleteI saw a comment on SNP that really tee'd me off -- that one who uses "CJT" as part of the name -- is using the age card as a reason we shouldn't be recalling Jackie. Well hell, if that's the case, then I'm all for getting rid of term limits and age eligibilities for any elected office. I say there should be an IQ range (not too high and not too low) and a battery of other psychological tests, so we have a better chance of keeping psychpaths and sociopaths out of public office. Jackie STILL wouldn't make the cut under those terms. The age card ... give me a break ... if you're mean enough to dish it out, you better be able to withstand the consequences.

ReplyDeleteGod Bless SNP and Whitehall Citizens -- Have you all seen the Letters To The Editor? Not ONE in support of Jackie!! NOT ONE!!! Yee Haw!! But, keep plugging along, Committee!! We want to "Seal The Deal" so no one else has to deal with this again. Sure, she can still be a pest from the sidelines, but at least she won't be able to use her elected title as to bludgeon others into espousing her viewpoints. CJ, what would we have done without you? Thank you for bringing our attention to this blight on Whitehall's present and future and for the work and research you have done. Thanks to everyone! from yard sign posters, to letter writers, to meeting and hearing attendees, to flyer distributors, to records requesters, and to the victims who opened their private lives for public perusal to rid us of the "venomous, vile, malignant cancer"!!! I have never met a more dedicated and caring group of individuals. I salute you all.
