THE DAMNING E-MAIL FROM JACKIE TO GLAZERS

Here is the e-mail that according to Jackie "does not exist" when asked for by City Attorney Mike Shannon for Janiece Miller's public record request that Janiece made to the city last April directly following her firing from Glazers.

Dear Mr. Lepow-
The following e-mail was sent to me. other city officials and people outside of government using your company’s e-mail system. Does Glazer support this unfortunate and outrageous use of Its system to attack a duly elected City official? This is not the first emails that have been sent out by Janiece Miller under the auspices of Glazers Distributors of Ohio that attack me. Your hold harmless statement "All personal messages express solely the sender's views and not those of Glazer's Wholesale Drug Company, Inc." does not relieve your company from the harm that may have been caused to me nor does It enhance the reputation of your company, which has it's distributorship on Poth Road in Whitehall. Surely you have a system in place to weed out emails such as this. Does Glazers Distributors of Ohio support her attacks and opinion? One can only wonder. I will appreciate a response from your company and would hope that in the future your company would not be implicated in Ms. Miller's attacks upon my good character. From her email I think you can deduce that things are very volatile in our city right now and threats have been made. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Very truly yours,
Jacquelyn K. Thompson
City Councihwoman-at-Large

Jackie had also attached Janiece's e-mail(remember- it's posted on the blog already)...but cut it so it looked like it was sent JUST TO HER!!
What a piece of work YOU ARE JACKIE!!! I can smell the legal proceedings coming your way!!!

  1. Jacquelyn Thompson, Whitehall City Council member, has asked for the city to “afford” her special legal counsel. She stated City Attorney Mike Shannon doesn’t have her best interest at heart because, “people have been requesting public records.” Mike Shannon, in honor of the Councilwoman’s request, has delegated this task to another attorney. Well, Ms. Thompson, public records are by definition public. Why do you care who requests them or which ones are requested? Do we need protection from such information? And, if so, should you be the one to protect us? Why should an attorney bail you out of anything? It appears you are suggesting using an attorney to keep Whitehall’s public records from citizens. This makes you highly suspect in your actions and motives. Quite a risky stand to take when one’s ability to lead is to be put to the test on November 3rd. I’m quite curious about what Madam Jackie has hidden in the files and dusty corners of Whitehall City Hall. Aren’t you? Alas, we may have to wait for quite some time. The clock has been ticking … I have seen a copy of ONE public record request that has been filled at this point (6 months after being requested). And this is one that Jackie has denied existence of. I feel sorry for the poor attorney who must work with you to dig up your “non-existing” documentation. What’s the problem? Delays will not win you votes, friends or supporters. They just reinforce the public persona you have put forth, and (as stated in the petition signed by a phenomenal number of Whitehall residents in a short amount of time) could possibly be the cause of lawsuits against you and the unfortunate city government in which you have been seated. Keep up the great work Jackie – you have done at least as much work as The Committee For The Positive Future of Whitehall to get yourself recalled. Vote NO on ISSUE 32.

REASONABLE LENGTH OF TIME TO PRODUCE PUBLIC DOCUMENTS IS NOT IN ANYWAY IMPLIED TO BE 6 MONTHS!!!!!

  2. Didn't Councilperson Jacquelyne Thompson tell City of Whitehall attorney, Mike Shannon that this email did not exist? But, of course she did! LIAR! Jackie, you are in some real hot water now, aren't you? This is what you have done all throughout your seat on council....is lie, bully and use your title for your own agenda....You are a very evil and sick person and I can't wait until your name is never mentioned again in this City.

  3. It appears Councilwoman Thompson has once again placed the city in a terrible legal position. Thompson's attempt to hide this email is unethical and against the law.

  4. I would hope that the City of Whitehall has some legal recourse they can take against Ms. Jackie as these public records are brought to light. And all of the citizens of this community can see for their selves the evil that Ms.Jackie has been hiding. Why else would she care about anyone wanting "PUBLIC" records...only when you have something to hide. And Ms. Jackie has alot to hide, I'm sure!!!
