  1. I'm sorry, but I cannot attend. I have a feeling that there are going to be many people there though that speak for our community and the best interest for the community that we live. I wish you the best, and I will support you and my community interest totally in the near future.

  2. CJ, you have gotten soooooo many followers lately. It's a good thing. We are on the right path. Sometimes people don't want to be involved in local politics, but it's a wonderful thing when they do. Hey, it's where we live, grow and raise our families. Don't we deserve voices? I think so. Thank you so much to all new followers for joining this blog and becoming an active community member!

  3. I will be there, health permitting. Janiece knows me, and I've been on the local news stations, several times. Last year when this was news previously.

  4. This is my first time posting. If councilperson Thompson denies having 3 dogs licensed, then it would be important to inquire if councilperson Thompson did have more than 3 dogs licensed in 2009 (which in fact she did and she had 5 dogs licensed in 2008).
One needs to ask the question, "WHEN DID COUNCILPERSON THOMPSON "DE-LICENSE" ONE OF HER DOGS?" H-m-m, was it when this became public knowledge?
Even if councilperson Thompson has 3 dogs licensed now, SHE DID HAVE a minimum of 4 DOGS LICENSED before June.
Isn't that true councilperson Thompson? Can't deny it can you? Go ahead and try . . .

  5. I have the 2009 dog license records for Franklin County. Thompson has 4 dogs licensed this year.

  6. That is true Ed, but on June 2, she "de-licensed" one of them. Oh wait, what day did I first post she had 4 dogs licensed in her name??? Oh...June 2. Interesting.

  7. Are there any more pressing issues besides the dogs?

  9. I have to say that out of the 7 of them and one council president, only 2 of them are crazy. Just because two of them are nuts, it doesn't mean the others are squirrels. It just means that they can't get anything done because of the two crazies. These two council crazies give the whole town a bad name.

  10. I agree. The rest of them are sane, level-headed, thinking in the best interest of the community, council members. Thompson has been a huge distraction, wasting all of their time and energy and creating a destructive, devisive atmosphere both in council chambers and in the community. LaCorte...I just feel sorry for her. She is a nice woman but doesn't have the logical thinking skills for her type of position. She is in way over her head. She would be great in the PTA or in a charitable organization.
