8/4/09 National Night Out...No Show JACKIE...er...
"NO SHOW" Jackie....er..........well, not quite. Jackie made a big pomp and circumstance before tonight's National Night Out to let everyone know that she would not be attending in fear of possible "pit bull sightings". Me oh my...let's add to the drama! NOW Jackie says that because of a flier that was place on her porch this past weekend to educate the community on council behavior...and as proof- YouTube and my blog....well Jackie told people she felt "intimidated". Oh come on Jackie! This is NOT our first dance about your bad behavior! Intimidated??? Ummm....then EXPLAIN to the public WHY you showed up to National Night Out......just NOT for YOUR TEAM!!! You came LATE, sat in the bleachers....LAUGHED and ran when residents asked you WHY YOU DID NOT SIT WITH COUNCIL!!!!!!!!!! If this is not the final straw that breaks the camel's back to get you off council.............well....well....! People! It takes 6 Council Members to send her packing! TALK TO YOUR COUNCIL MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!! Let the deed be done..........NOW!

Oh, boy did I want to be there, planned on it for over a week!!!!!...but I had a sick child at home and was unable to attend. I was ready though....Wow, a lot of people received these flyers, about 1000 and she was intimidated? I heard she said it was threatening...DO WHAT? See how she twists things to meet her needs and fit her agenda...she should be more afraid of what she see's in the mirror than a flyer...by the way; no one else took them as threatening or intimidating. They found you in the audience, huh? Wow, great team player there Ms. Thompson...she didn't want to get up there with uh, what did she call them..."cranky men on council". Woof, woof...
ReplyDeleteThe city has an elected council member who purposely missed part of a city council meeting in order to avoid the public. Jackie Thompson purposely chose to not engage in the business in which she is getting paid. Taxpayer dollars are paying her salary.

JT's actions last night showed the utmost disrespect not only for her team members, but more so towards the PEOPLE she supposedly represents. I say council should reconsider her "excused" absence and then they should remove her from her seat. Everything that comes out of her mouth is a lie. 1. I am threatened by "Pit Bulls(oh no!!!) 2. I am threatened by a flyer(are you for real???) and 3. I thought the meeting was a 7p.m.(Give me a break) This sounds like something that you would hear on David Letterman's top ten. Hey council, are you hearing what the people you represent want??? Get her out of here!! She's had way more than the 3 strike limit.
