RECALL

At the time of this post, I am at City Hall for the Committee Meeting with petition in hand. THAT’s RIGHT! After research, checking and double checking, I along with a fine group of citizens are passing petitions for the RECALL OF JACKIE THOMPSON COUNCIL AT LARGE. I am surrounded by hard working determined citizens and collectively we will get the signatures required to have a RECALL ELECTION. Anyone interested in signing and or assisting in this historical venture, please e-mail me at cheryljot@gmail.com.POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Congratulations. I am glad to see the move finally being made. How many valid signatures do you need?

  3. Ed, we will need at least 403 signatures. We know that we can get way more than that. There will be more information on this subject very soon, so stay tuned. I would also like to thank everyone that showed up tonight to help, you know who you are. And yes, Steph, we are "walking the talk" and will be doing so everyday until we get what we need, and I am sure that it will not take long, as we already have alot of signatures.

  6. I e-mailed cj last night ... just need to know when and where to go ... I'll bring my husband and son too, they're registered voters!! I'd like to help with getting petition signed as well. I read the on-line Whitehall News version of what happened and Jackie's response. She speaks and the most amazing bull-oney assaults ones ears (or eyes if you're reading about it). We as citizens feel threatened and harassed by her, but at least we have videographed proof in actual governmental proceedings. Speaking of proof, can Jackie be prohibited from speaking at governmental proceedings about her fictitious phone calls and conversations with "people on the street" if council can consider it "hearsay" just like they do in legal proceedings? Just wondering . . . sigh . . .

  9. Way to go guys........!I read the story in the Whitehall News, good article, I still think you need to try to get the Whitehall news to publish Janiece's "threatening" E-mail. Not that you won't have enough votes anyway, but still consider it the final nail in her political career. Give me the permission and I will post it in the Whitehall news as a comment to the story about Jackie...sorry I mean Jaquelyn Thompson.

  10. Tidbit...If you want JT to stop with the lies and innuendos...go to council with a list of things she has said (the calls, etc.) and demand that she prove these calls and "vague" allegations. Example: If she says that someone has complained to her about code enforcement...ask if she has turned this "allegation" into the proper authorities for investigation. But don't let up. Make sure you keep pressure on her to either turn the allegation into a proper investigation or admit that she was just making it up. Credibility is what is in question here...her lack of... This will show to the public that she is lying and the other members of council can't stop you.

  11. Yeah, just like the dog incident that Ms. LaCorte was aware of and NEVER called authorities. Apparently, someone in her ward, had a small ankle biter and their neighbor has what she calls a pit bull. The neighbors all get along with each other. The little dog stuck his head through the fence and the big dog unfortunately killed it. The people involved did not want her to call authorities. This is blatent disrespect and deriliction of duty not to mention arbitrary enforcement. If that would have been MY dog, she would have been all over it! I smell some serious bullsh**!!!

  12. Phew! I can smell it from here!
