I don't even know what to say about this... Gee JT I wonder why people are rude to you. To me it seems like the rest of the council was laughing at her. Be careful JT it looked to me that you got the LL smirk. Funny story, I was walking through the neighborhood this morning, and this "pit bull" jumped onto the fence and started barking at me, I spoke nicely to the dog calling him a good boy and approached the dog and guess what the dog did? anybody?...He licked my hand... A little further down the street almost the same thing happened except the dog was a little terrier type dog, and the dog almost bit me...both dogs were behind a fence. The pit bull's fence had a beware of dog sign but the little dog's did not. The pit bull looked healthy and clean, the little dog looked as it hadn't had a bath in months, let alone brushed. It is not the dog that is mean it is the owner that doesn't care for the dog that makes the dog mean.
ReplyDeleteI got a little carried away with my first post, so....let me try again....Jackie is only talking about her one and only friend in the City here, and that is a person who got SLAPPED (what a choice of words) with one of these citations, and can't seem to get over how terrible code enforcement is, wah, wah. As for the people at the City who won't give their names (if that's even true; can't believe a word that comes out of this womans mouth), it's probably because they know it's her calling....there's already been one person who lost their job because of this mad woman, but many more attempts have been made. No one battles with a person who calls the City or yells at them, that is what SHE DOES. She makes this stuff as she goes along....she needs to be on Judge Judy, she would set this looney straight. And wow, she give Mr. Ogden "permission to speak".....do what? And then when he sets her straight, she just sits back and rocks and laughs, smiling all the while...what's wrong Ms. Jackie, pit bull got you by the tongue? What a looney-tune character...I have a new name for her....Wackie Jackie.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! All I can say is Ray Ogden is the man. It's obvious by JT's smirks and rocking back and forth that this whole thing was completely made up and "put on" for the camera. I have had numerous contacts with different offices at City Hall and I want to say everytime I have been treated with much respect. We have a great team at City Hall with the exception of JT. The crazytrain will be making its stop here for your soon Jackie, pack your bags!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIt is unfortunate that Ms. Thompson is so compelled to describe our community as this vicious and lawless city. But of course if we weren’t in such a lawless state than we wouldn’t need Ms. Thompson to come to our RESCUE and teach us the PROPER WAYS OF CIVILITY. Of course her definition of civility includes unfounded conjecture…“Citizens continue to be victimized by the vicious dogs that are pouring into our city”. Now there comes a credibility factor here, because I just don’t see all of the vicious dogs that are pouring in and neither do my neighbors and …Oh, wait…I must not live in the “right” part of Whitehall…I must not be living around enough of our “renters”. Of course…everyone in MY neighborhood is a property owner and that’s why I don’t see these bands of vicious dogs?? Now, we come back again to (that ugly word) CREDIBILITY. Oh bother… Now, most people own cameras, maybe a cell phone that can take pictures…maybe Ms. Thompson could substantiate her claims by taking a photo of the vicious dogs that are roaming our streets and victimizing our women and children. That way she could show the community “credible” evidence of our wrong opinions: us…“Fomenters of Violence”… who…”now have a grip on our city“..
I was in the gallery at the July 21 Council meeting…and according to Ms. Thompson then I must be one of “the pit bull people”: you know, I am just going to have to contact the AKC and the breeder that I purchased my dog from…they all have her registered as a West Highland White Terrier (aka Westie) But Ms. Thompson has stated that the gallery was full of “pit bull people”…my mistake. But then we need someone like Ms. Thompson to instruct us in these matters.
And of course we have murders and shootings in our community just happening all over the place…how can we possibly live with this hail of gun fire that is going on around us. These lawless gun toting citizens won’t even respect the sanctity of City Council meeting nights and stop their shooting. But Ms. Jackie Thompson will save us!!! She knows more than anyone (including our professionally trained police force) of how to stop all of these shootings. This hail of gun fire that encompasses our city and imprisons our citizens in their homes.
Our domestic violence within Whitehall is out of control…”The violence against women and abuse of children continues”. But Ms. Thompson will show us the right and just and proper way…”those of us who wish to live in a civilized society”. …”to end the violence and to make Whitehall a better place in which to live”. That darn word has popped up again…C-R-E-D-I-B-I-L-I-T-Y…
Is this for real? I mean really now . . . a crazy woman in pink headdress gives permission for an appointed department to speak? How can anyone really take Jackie seriously? Everytime I look at her, I just want to laugh. Anyone that is so full of themselves and acts so arrogant while at the very same time is ignorant, it is laughable. Hey, the pink thing on her head though . . . that says it all. You are right Stephanie in that Jackie has no credibility in Whitehall or for that fact, Franklin county. Everyone I know thinks she is a kook.

But what I found most interesting was that after she presented her customer service lecture, she demonstrated what poor customer service really is - she smirked and laughed at Ray Ogden while he was defending his staff. Who's giving poor customer service now Jackie?
Hey Chloe, it was Teri who spoke regarding credibility, but we all know that's true: Jackie has none. Jackie talks to just hear herself speak. She can't back up anything she says or does.
ReplyDeleteOops, yes it was Teri who commented on Jackie's lack of credibility. Thanks Steph for keeping me straight. This is all so crazy between the councilwomen that it keeps my head spinning. As CJ says, "you can't make this stuff up".
ReplyDeleteJackie looks like a lifeless puppet, the way her arms move up and down and in circles when she talks, the same thing ventriloquists do with their puppets, moving the arms around to take the focus off of the ventriloquists mouth moving. The pink hat goes along with the puppet look as well. Bravo Jackie (or who ever the puppet master is) very funny performance, however it would be a lot funnier if this wasn't really going on. Wow the Whitehall that Jackie describes kinda resembles the movie Mad Max beyond Thunderdome...People running through the streets shooting each other, rabid dogs roaming the streets in packs, preying on women and children.
ReplyDeleteThis thing about these "pit bull people" being villainous towards those that speak against them is total insanity. Jackie says something about people are afraid to make themselves known. It is funny that the only people that have had anything done to them is the ones that are standing up for their rights, like maybe the "pit bull people" They have been labeled as Fomenter's of Violence, for simply standing up in public and fighting for their rights. If this is true then I guess people like Martin Luther King jr, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Paul Revere Thomas Jefferson, are also fomenter's of violence, if that is the case then I don't mind the label...I believe that we owe it to the Founding Fathers, to stand united against those that stand in the way of our freedom and rights to live free. I mean what does Jackie want to take guns away from the citizens as well, let me guess because guns kill people right? Wait if that is the case then Pencils must cause miss-spelled words. So lets see Jackie we should then ban Pit bulls, guns and pencils. Unbelievable...
Won't my elderly and politically astute neighbor be shocked and appalled that at least one Whitehall City Council member believes that the language for public polls must be "dumbed down" and kept to one (insert "no") choice to allow for our senior residents limited comprehension abilities? I'm not brave enough to tell her just yet ... Must find a way to break it to her gently ... Oh, that's right, she probably wouldn't understand what I was talking about at any rate.
ReplyDeleteI have to make a few observations here...first I don't think I've ever "fomented" anything..now I admit to fermenting my share of grapes and a few other things and I've done my share of penicillin au natural...but "foment"..aahh..don't think so... Anyway, I read my mother (81 yr old)the part in the paper, LL's statement that the legislation had to be worded so that our senior citizens could understand it and so that the desired results could be obtained. Her comment was...she's not so old that she can't recognize a scam when she sees it and stop being condescending and patronizing...got her blood pressure up!!! This whole thing is becoming a circus, with LL and JT as the ring masters.
